Lauren took our elegant, timeless vision and brought it to life in the Lowcountry. She perfectly intertwined design details from our 'resort casual' welcome dinner with our elevated black-tie wedding. Throughout the process, Lauren took care of every detail—big and small—so we could enjoy planning and, more importantly, our big day. On the weekend of our wedding, Lauren and the Tara Skinner Events team ensured every vendor was on schedule, details were in place, and managed our wedding party and guests. Tara Skinner Events and our lead planner Krystal were 10/10 the best thing that ever happened to our wedding planning journey. Krystal completely understood what we were looking for out of our day, put up with the hours of conversations with me and my mother - as I planned this entire wedding from a far and made it the most fun, thoughtful, incredible process. She was receptive to our budgets, provided us with the best advice but listened to the things that were important to us. She was an absolute blessing and truly miss planning the wedding day. I come from a planning background and being able to just relax on the day was the best gift Krystal could have ever given me. We always laughed during our conversations and I don't think there is anyone that could have cared more about her brides than Krystal and Tara's overall team. We are so blessed to have met and worked with Krystal - she is an angel from above. Still get emotional about how perfect the day was and that is all thanks to Krystal's expertise, guidance and care!

Right after I got engaged, my fiance and I started talking details and decided it would be so much fun to do a destination wedding. So, of course, right away, I started telling everyone I knew that we were getting married in Charleston! Then it hit me. I love Charleston, but I know NOTHING about getting married there! I had a minor melt-down but then got myself together and started looking for planners to help me.
